Yaidee Fox brings extensive executive and professional experience in local government, having served the City of Hickory since November 2003. Beginning in the Engineering Department, she has held key roles including Assistant to the City Manager, Governmental Affairs Manager, and Executive Assistant Manager before assuming her current position as Assistant City Manager.  

Fox holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership from Mountain State University and a Master of Public Administration from Villanova University. She is a graduate of the UNC School of Government’s Municipal Administration Course, an ICMA Credentialed Manager, and a member of the ICMA Equity Officer Institute.
